In addition, a savings of $60 thousand annually is realized through reduced absenteeism among breastfeeding mothers at CIGNA. The study also found that pharmacy costs for breastfed children are lower, because they require 62 percent fewer prescriptions.

Those numbers are absolutely astounding! Its amazing to me that in a society where money talks, somehow this info doesn’t get out. I know that breastfeeding is free and its advocates can’t hire lobbyists like the f**mula industry, but you would think these numbers should motivate *someone*!
I feel like taking that quote and putting it on a giant billboard.
