That’s beautiful! But it’s actually carved in wwod, isn’t it? (I’m originally from an area where large scale wood carving is quite popular.) Where is it from?

You might be right, Shannon! I had never seen those colors in wood grain before and assumed it was stone. The photographer didn’t specify the nature of the work or origin of the photo.
