How can babies be that small when they are first born? Or how can my 3 year old be so big when she was once so small? That’s a lovely, determined-to-nurse expression on the babe’s face.

When I had my second daughter, my first was 2 years and 8 months. All of a sudden she looked huge! I had to be careful not to expect more of her developmentally, because all I could think was, “You’re not a baby! You can do things for yourself! You’re huge!” :)

Amazing how fast those tiny babies grow. The power of mother’s milk!
