Thanks for posting! I had always wondered what a tongue tie looks like. BTW, is this your baby? I saw that you gave credit to someone else for the picture.

Hi Sarah! The picture is not of my baby. I had never seen tongue-tie before either, and I thought people might benefit from seeing what it can look like (sad as the picture is — breaks my heart to see the baby crying like that!)

one of my younger brothers was very tongue-tied. They had to end up clipping off the tip of his tongue. Ouch!

My little boy is tongue-tied & looks just like this pic. He never had any problems breastfeeding. 13 months & still going strong!
